Wistful Longing Poem by Dustin Dawin

Wistful Longing

Sentenced to a life without love
Oh how I long for thee
a gleam in the eye of forever
The taste of a fruitless tree
I yearn yet I face this endeavor
As a light flickers far far away
Forward bound in wavering never
left to dream I will get there one day
