With Hands Outstretched

Though people walk away from you
Though friends and family stray
Walk steadily with love in view
Along the narrow way

Let Love your heart and soul ignite
Stand firm amongst the fray
Gleaming within the murky night
Revealing world decay

Pray righteousness would take the field
God’s Fire on heads would fall
That ignorance to truth would yield
And answer Heaven’s call

Pray all the chained up nations free
Religious head would bow
Tradition eyes would learn and see
To truly grasp The Plough

God wishes ‘all’ to live on earth
Each colour faith and creed
Through faith in Christ, give second birth
Man’s single greatest need

Although we have our different views
Of self we see no flaw
Yet God wants ‘all’ to hear The News
Leading through Heaven’s Door

We need the facts to understand
We need who gives us life
Through whom we learn to stretch our hand
And cease our foolish strife

Let’s scrutinize our neighbour’s ways
Each book by which we live
Seek as one The Ancient Of Days
For all the love He’ll give
