Just Another Poet Girl

With One Slow Dance

Poem by Just Another Poet Girl

Your standing there alone
And so am I
I look you in the eyes
Trying to tell you...
I ask you to go with me
to a place far away
With one slow dance
We'll watch the stars
Walk on the beach
While you and me, dancing
You smile at me
I asked you to go with me
A place with dreams
With one slow dance
Feel my heart beating hard
You don't have to go
I just want you here with me
You and me dancing
All in one slow dance
