With Open Arms - Poem by Jacqualine Williams Rippy

With Open Arms, I saw beyond tomorrow
Sought hope for your sorrows that came to pass
Sad things seldom last, as in those eyes
I caught a glimpse of your soul. Mere words could never contain, nor control
The one who looks beyond what pleases the eyes
Seeking what's inside, the refuge
A soul that havens for hope. For such, as the sun awakens the east
And sets the west to rest
I whisper to the winds to send, I love you
Command the tides within, that crave to hold you
With Open Arms.
