With Our Eyes Only



the day unfolds itself to me,
n i wake without your arms,
without your kiss,
your voice rings clearly though across the distances,
n tonight i will brave another moon,
without your love,
n perhaps i will dream of you,

underneth a waterfall
the mist shall be all you wear
n there we will make love,
professing the unsaid,
with our eyes only...
