With this man, I've never kissed
'nor felt his sweet embrace
'nor lain with him in sweetest bliss,
or touched his tender face.
With this man, I do not know,
since chilhood long ago,
I yearn to be with all the time,
his life I want to know.
With this man, who knows me well,
and can't forget my scent,
I pray he still believes in me,
and thinks I'm heaven sent.
With this man, who's tasted love,
and had so many go,
this is our chance to learn of us,
under the moonlit glow.
With this man, who's loved and lost,
true love has never found,
tempting fate has gone nowhere,
to me he might be bound.
