Yesterday you knelt before me
Asking for me to go back to you
Today you stand before me

Tomorrow you'll cry to me
Asking for me to believe you

You still haven't learned

Our relationship has burned

But you didn't think that yesterday
I'd be the one saying no
You didn't believe that today
I would be the one rejecting you
