Withdrawal Poem by Faye Hahn

Withdrawal

My hands are shaking
My veins are throbbing
I feel the adrenaline drowning in my body
Iwant it- I NEED it!
Red or green, I'll take it
I don't think I'll make it
Without the smell,
Without the taste.
Once my heart raced; now it's come to a hault.
I can't stop the habit; and it's all my fault.
