Without Any Ripple Without Any Stone (Edited) Poem by RIC BASTASA

Without Any Ripple Without Any Stone (Edited)

How i prayed
to unlove you
and tonight i
wake up again
at midnight with
the same prayer
in strictest silence
listened by
the depths of
my darkness
until i have seen
light in the
middle of this
plight and there
i was a little
child sleeping with
the dog
at the doorstep
of my youth.

i've seen love
that was as pure
as the waters of
an undiscovered pool.

without any ripple
without any stone.
