Without You Poem by Nick Smith

Without You

Without you days seem longer
I'm growing, but I don't feel any stronger
Time goes slower, less reasons to smile
I haven't felt like myself in a while
You were my most valuable possession
My hidden treasure, you relieved stress and tension
Without you the sun seems dimmer, the sky seems gray
I feel lost like I'm a stray
Thinking about you everyday and night
I'm stuck in this dark shadow, waiting for you to make it bright
A new year is beginning, and I want you by my side
I'm new to this special feeling, and I want you as my guide
Since you left, I felt sick like I have the flu
The truth is I'm just miserable without you

Simple, eloquent just what the romance novels are made of. Seems your learning the ways of love slowly but surely. Good write.
