Witness Poem by Thomas Cornfield

Witness

Witness
By Thomas William cornfield

It's been so long to me
Sometimes it's like today.
I've seen the horrors,
That touched me in a way.
You never know when it comes
You pray it won't stay.
When you start to sleep
It comes out anyway.
Then you try to tell those
Who could never comprehend.
As Death comes walking by
and smiles at you again.
