Wolf At The Door Poem by Dr. Harry Hamburger

Wolf At The Door

Who is the wolf
that knocks on your door
they say if you feed him
he will come back no more

Give him a someone
you have heard people claim
then he will leave you alone
he likes those with no name

What will he eat
when the others are gone
if you think you are safe
He will prove you all wrong

Who is the wolf
that knocks on your door
they say if you feed him
He will come back for more
