Wolves Among Sheep Poem by Patrick Tincher

Wolves Among Sheep

We the sheep are surrounded
Surrounded by ravenous beasts
Their teeth are like spears and arrows
Tongues like swords
Wolves dressed as sheep
Looking so innocent
Be fooled not they come like thieves
Intent on spilling innocent blood
I will stay steadfast
My heart will exalt you oh God
Awaken you Sleeper
Be blinded by the truth
There are wolves among sheep
Tell me as the wolves eat your flesh
Do you fear my God now?
My heart will extol you oh Lord
Tell me as the wolves eat your flesh
Do you feel my God now?
