Woman 2 Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Woman 2

Woman 2

Though far is our summer
-I do enjoy weather.

Sun is out and bright
-heat and cold are both mild.

Breeze is delicious
-as are the sunshine-rays.

She is out of her house
-goes to or comes from.

She walks on the grass
-slow as do robins when poking
-to hunt worms when peeking.

One hand is on skirt
-to pull up and ease way
-of walking a step, by step…

Not only has backpack
-that holds bag in a hand.

Over all is master
-as if actor "Porter."

Tied, fastened, strapped
-are her shoes; in black.

Her high heels take me to
-hammer, nail, carpentry.

I have a wide smile
-somehow laugh, sympathise
-with pain in the knees I, empathise!

"Poor woman comes from
-the office; using bus.
-Now, walking to her house
-does not dare to cross
-winding road that has pots! "
