Harlequin Rose

The essence of a woman
who she is and what she is to you
sexuality encompassed
beauty defined
by the lines of age creasing her face
strong as she needs to be
vulnerable as the tears standing in her eyes
enchanted by the world of lies
that lays like a valley around her
she is body and soul
heart and intelligence
mother of the earth
and queen amongst the kings of her world
she is truth personified
dignity and elegance
twisted into a before and after picture
she is ruled by emotion
yet stronger than any man
could ever hope to be
she is what she is
definition of a woman.
