Women - Poem by Sayeed Abubakar
The women who are like vegetables
are found here and there.
The women who are like fish
walk swinging their waists on the Tulsi ground-
the fishermen taking fishing nets in their hands
get puzzled and see nothing but darkness.
The women who are like Biryani food
are found into the rooms of all five star hotels.
Thanks to God!
In our muddy cottages, there live
those women who have beauty and color
but more than that, they have much fragrance.
