Wonder Step Poem by Lois doyle

Wonder Step

Wonder step leads far
Knowing not to wish on a star
Falling fast like a race
Swimming in deep water cuts your face
What's beautiful but what's wrong?
Leading on in a harmony song
The sky is deep and blue
The ground's grass is filled with dew
The moring shivers as you walk through the door
A basket of death held on your sore
As you leave you know its the end
But there was never a beginning again
Wonder step leads far
But I taught you not to wish on that star.
