Wondering About Words To Match Sense Poem by Ananta Madhavan

Wondering About Words To Match Sense

Philosophy, as Socrates may have found,
Begins as Wonder
And soon begins to meander
Into word-play and pedantry,
With metaphors to match.

Did Aristotle fling a bottle
Into the Aegean Sea?
He did not mock philosophy
As Reason's blasphemy.
