Woodstock Poem by Jake Schaff

Woodstock

The cosmic kiss shatters the day break
And splits up the sunlight from the standing trees.
The celestial bodies caress and dance,
profoundly
in their impenetrable beauty, containing
laughter which shake the heavens but fail to move the earth.
How could anyone see you
Who would care to look
After all your just two lovers standing in a brook
