Words - Poem by Earle N. Williams

Words convey a lot of thoughts,
and just to name a few.
They somehow seem to rule our lives
in everything we do.
When spoken softly nerves are soothed.
In anger we get mad.
But when we hear a word of praise
it always makes us glad.
The grandest words that we can hear
and feel each word is true
is these three words that warm our hearts,
the words are I love you.
