I have been beguiled,
Thousands of times,
And wrecked my house,
With my own hands.
Danced I on the gestures
Of necessity,
Spoiled my age, listening to
The childish longings
Of my heart.
Spent half of the life,
Starving my body and soul,
Then my words became Christ,
And I wrote them in my blood.
