Words Of A Shattered Heart

'You won't understand it until it happens to u.' These words are ringing on my head.
I've tried, God knows, I've tried!
Thought I was knocking on your door but I was hitting on a brick wall.
Caring about someone drains u and dries u out.
I was sugar, you were salt. Blended together we created a bittersweet taste.
Guess what? We couldn't even handle the taste!
We was flying together but on different directions.
I'm learning to fly alone today with broken wings.

'You won't understand it until it happens to you' These words be ringin on my head.
In a battlefield you stop fighting when a soldier is injured and cannot fight anymore.
I'm injured in places you can't see, pity you can't see!
I'm gonna sit quietly in my corner
And nurse my sore wounds.
My soul is tired, my heart is tired and my mind is tired.

'You won't understand it until it happens to you'
I'm bleeding memories, I'd rather forget.
My heart is demanding something I cannot give, Patience!
My mind is demanding something I cannot Afford, Time!
And my soul is demanding strength, sadly I'm very weak!

'You won't understand it until it happens to you.'
you won't understand heartbreak until your own heart is broken! ! !
