Words Of A Staircase Poem by kesava poddar

Words Of A Staircase

Life is a staircase
We have to face the trivales
A staircase keeps the memories
Within its core of the race
It says to feel the first smile
Of the baby when brought home
It says to feel the touch
Of the ist trembling little legs
It says to embrace the child
When it dances in the fun
It says to hold the fingers
While she plays and takes a run
It says to close the eyes
For lovebirds are taking a hug
It says to place the hands
When she is going with her love
It says to wipe out the tears
Of the loving parents waiting by
It says to cheer the life
And wait for those years coming
It says to be in deep sorrow
When the game of life ends here
And again a small bud of life
Flourishes in dew of the moon
It longs to change the world
And swipe out all it round
And make it a beautiful one
Where joy with tears
Would be cherished and longed by
'Everyone'
