'Words Of Wisdom' Poem by Jason Souza

'Words Of Wisdom'

Sitting here, contemplating, reminiscing
Crafting words in poetic rhythm, soul glistening
Spitting illmatic verses, like Nas in his prime
Still at it, like he penned 'Stillmatic' in rhyme

Taking shots, like a lyrical marksman in flight
Offering blueprints for wisdom, shining light
A cipher to decipher, secrets unfold
My name is whispered by winds untold

Jehovah, enlightening, illuminating the way
Guiding the lost, through night and day
From the depths of ego, to the heights of truth
Let's journey together, from folly to sleuth

Legos of life, building blocks we seek
In the tapestry of existence, bold and meek
Hail Mary, Makaveli, splitting blunts with grace
Red Sea parting, in this earthly race

1776, a salute to the brave
33 degrees, wisdom to crave
Solomon's oath, echoes in time
After the rain, the rainbow shall shine

Moon untainted, Jesus pure in heart
Yet men and women, torn apart
Microwaves and radiation, a tale of woe
Anger and rage, the seeds we sow

Uncuffed, unchained, a soul unbound
Pages of wisdom, ancient and profound
Seeking redemption, in a world so cold
Finding solace, in stories untold

From Monroe's allure, to blood-red wine
Vodka on ice, a dangerous line
Driving under influence, a reckless chase
Tires screeching, in a waltz of disgrace

From block to block, the same tale unfolds
Two shots ring out, in stories untold
Bullet holes mark the path we tread
A plea for peace, in a world full of dread

Black and white, yellow and brown
Let's not pretend, let's tear hatred down
Sheriffs and cops, caught in the fray
A plea for unity, in a world gone astray

Democracy, a beacon of hope
Inequity addressed, we rise and cope
Political parties, voices united
Injustice undone, wrongs righted

Tupac's wisdom, a guiding light
In words we find, our strength to fight
Makavelian echoes, in the night's embrace
A call for change, a world to grace

Let's rise together, in unity's call
For in our diversity, we stand tall
Embrace the power, within our hands
To shape a future, where justice stands.
