Work-Sick Poem by Jennifer Parks

Work-Sick

"My tongue is sticky from sealing all these letters"-
my excuse for sticking out my tongue at my betters.
Who wants to be at work anyway?
It's too nice outside to stay in all day!
I want to throw discs spinning through the air,
I want to have fun without any cares!
I think, if tomorrow is as nice as today,
I might have to call it in as a sick-day!
