World Of Illusions
The world of illusion,
A land of lies and deceive,
It predicts nothing but the fear in others eyes.
Alas, what have we let our future become?
A world full of mistrust, and hearts filled with gloom.
Where trust is a hard thing to find,
And no one is ever truly kind.
The future is uncertain, and hope is hard to keep.
The promises we make, are false and cheap.
It's a world of deception and lies,
Where no one can truly be wise.
So let us not forget the truth,
That the world of illusion, will never be soooth.
Let's remember our past,
To protect our future, and make it last.
IF the past has been so gloomy-sounding, I think I could hope to NOT make it 'last'! ! ! ! ! ! : ) OR : ( bri! ! !

PS, I believe you 'want' 'deceit', not 'deceive' in line 2. DECEIT: 'the action or practice of deceiving someone by concealing or misrepresenting the truth.'
