Worlds On A Tilt Poem by Alicia Sturgill

Worlds On A Tilt

'I want a love i dont have to be a lush in.'
is what the girl says to herself.
she finally finds one, and now is worried about her health

shes used to drinking her liver to dust
and trying and live her life around lust.

knowing that the guy she deserves
is states away..
she now is staying at home and cuddling teddy.

no more late night parties for her,
well not without him,

shes changing inside.
no longer wanting to hide.
giving up the drunken world shes built.
to knock her world up off this tilt.

now with that done, her grey skies turn blue.
in mist of all this silly girl thought she knew
shes now very smitten at the thought of this guy.
and his love alone can get her high.

no more drunken nights wishing for my lushless love.
I've found whom i want with a little shove. 3
