Worry Less About Me Mother Poem by ELVIS LIME

Worry Less About Me Mother

Rating: 1.0

It's not to my will that I am away from home
Neither am I running away from the most devastating moments at home
You brought me into this world
And I don't know what awaits me inside
But am just trying my luck
So worry less about me mother

Increasing tall am becoming
Time fleets and for a moment I wonder
If ever there comes a time like this again
Time to arise, to a wake
To straighten up my head, elongate it and focus
To see how long and high to my destiny is
So worry less about me mother

Time beckons and I don't have my own
My time to leave has come
Into the hardness of the streets
Into the coldness of outside
Faraway from you mother
It's only that that am trying my luck
So worry less about me mother

Wish me good luck mother
As I battle it out with this world
Where the social class really matter and nobody seem to really care
But despite of this harshness
I will always find friends who stick more than brothers
One day I promise to be home
To reunite and bring back your joy
Taking away this feeling of insecurity about me
Me too am longing for such sensation of happiness
But for now let me search my destiny
For am only trying my luck
So worry less about me mother.
