Our language our identity,
Our language our state,
Our language our earth,
Our language our life,
And we are all sovereign
And independent and free,
And my dear Chief Minister,
And my dear servants,
How you dare to take it away
From our life, from our earth.
Wait for a while there to
See here your own destruction.
Wait for a while there to
See how I am rising like the sun.
Today is the statehood day of Odisha, India. Odisha has been created in 1936 on this day 1st April only on the basis of language. Odia bhasha is the state official language of Odisha in 1954 by the Act. The Constitution of India has placed Odia in the 8th Sch. and it is at present one of the classical language of India. In spite of it the Govt of Odisha is not using Odia anywhere, in any offices. The chief MInister Naveen Patnaik is not able to speak or write in Odia as yet. Disgrace to the Odisha day really.
