Worth Poem by Leonardo David Tay

Worth

Fell upon the hardest,
Bruised upon the roughest
I will surely see to it,
Found for you, a place to sit
Dismissed by the cruelest,
As a fraud dishonest
For each their words, I died a piece,
For I see, rare a masterpiece
I wish for you the best,
A gem among the rest
A prize for me to claim,
Through joy, anger, and pain
I long to hold you tight,
In embrace through the night
I found a soul so profound,
As one's worth is to be found
