I longed to be touched
in a way that awakened my soul.
My body ached for a traveler
familiar with the road.
The voice of familiarity
was a welcomed song to my ears.
How could something so wrong
feel so right?
A question I dare not answer.
Everything missing was found
when my friend became my lover...
