i am by your side most of the time..
yet sometimes i feel i'm worth less then a dime...
am i that worthless to you?

maybe i'm not up to your high standard...
and for that you left me stranded...
maybe i don't love you enough...
and for that you treat my heart oh so rough..
maybe you hate me for what i've done...
and for that my affections you shun..

maybe i am what i am...
a worthless piece of a man..
never meant anything to you...
that is why you do what you do...
