The night you passed away
Never could I forget that horrible day
A piece of me died with you
And I will forever miss you
Up in heaven you now are looking down on us from afar
So much you brought to us
Love laughter and trust
And though we miss you so
I just hope you know
Your memory will always be the best part of me
So much I now see
Nothing but love you had for me
And all that you gave me
Oh how many times you came to save me
Now I know You did the best you could to raise me
If only I knew it would be our last day
I sure as hell would have found something better to say.....
