Would it hurt if I walked away
Would it hurt if I turned around
Would it hurt if I was not okay
Would it hurt if I left without a sound

Would it hurt if I disappeared
Would it hurt if I went insane
Would it hurt if I shed a tear
Would it hurt if I felt such pain

Would it hurt to hold me close
Would it hurt to just be there
Would it hurt to accept my rose
Would it hurt to act like you care

Never felt pain to this degree
Never felt anguish to this state
Never felt doubt to this certainty
Never felt love brewed with hate

What more can I do
What more can I say
What more must I subdue
Before my heart drains away
