Wrack's Dross - Poem by edward kermode

Wrack's dross
Fiddler's toss
Hero's pining
Faith's divining
Laughter's truth
Heaven's ruth
Rainbow's prism
Ocean's schism
Craven's steeling
Steeple's pealing
Anvil's ringing
Angel's singing
Sentries sleeping
Saints a'weeping
Hearts a'bonding
Paths beyonding
Fates a'wending
Journeys ending
Forces spent
Egos dent
Ripeness rotted
Chance allotted
Hoards stashed
Wrists slashed
Vision shackled
Onset tackled
Conscience dead
Lifeblood shed
Witless, I from the edge recoil
To bargain reason's rags
With Bedlam's moil.
Wrack's dross
Fiddler's toss.
Wrack's dross
Fiddler's toss.
