These tears from the skies,
They tear me down.
Slamming my not so perfect reality,
But into the ground.

These scars they hurt,
But it's all a part of your curse.
Once apon a time you promised me,
That we were together and free..
To always be.

I gave you my young heart,
But sooner then purchsied,
You got a refund of all your parts.
You can't return what is a broken heart.
You got everything back,
And I just got the broken parts.

All the words that I speak,
Always fade away in your sleep.
All these words that I type,
You backspace with those eyes.
All the lyrics that I sing,
Not a one meant a thing.

I've lived for love and I've lived through hell,
I've given you all the love in my bones,
Once again I've came up short, I have failed.
