Writing Poem by Jamie Wallace

Writing

I write in the dark of my room,
the only light coming from the
ocean blue of my computer.
My finger click rapidly.
Laughter and happy screams
trickle down from the floor above,
reminding me im not alone.
Wishing I was the cause of the
laughter, I continue typing while
thoughts swim slowly through my
mind. I cant stop, they keep coming
faster and faster. I feel like I will
drown in them. The laughter grows
louder like waves crashing on the
rocks.

I like this alot...I think anyone who has a true passion for writing feels the panic...or perhaps the rhythm of poetry. Its a rush....that can sometimes drive you crazy...Maybe i'm just crazy. Kudos.: ]
