Yes Darling, I am serious
Writing poetry is not a waste of time
Obviously, it is not a crime.
You make me nervous
When you stand on my left shoulder
And hastily criticize me as a writer.
Be fair, my darling
Allow me to be solo, alone
And turn off your darn phone.
Please don't sing
You're disturbing me
Go ahead, go climb a tree.
Writing is fun
It's like sitting with a bright psychiatrist
A sweet diva, and a hip-hop violinist.
Let me finished, done
Before you say anything
And utter another word, my darling.
