Written For My Ex Fiance Poem by Heather Taylor

the love i feel for you
grows stronger everyday.
you still, to this day,
make my heart speed up, the butterflies in my stomach
intensely play, and uncontrollable smiles
form upon my face.
just the simple thought
of something so true;
just a simple thought of you,
takes away
all that could ever feel wrong.
i've never felt a love
quite like this.
never again, will i let you go.
for i couldn't live without you;
my happiness.
smiling and shining is my body's heart and soul.
as your wife,
i'll be whatever you need;
your confidant, your partner, your best friend.
tell me your fantasy,
and i'll play that role.
when you feel sick, i'll care for you
and nurse you back to health.
i'll stay by your side,
through poverty or wealth.
no matter what, i'll stay.
when you cannot sleep,
i'll be your sweet lullaby;
and if that fails, i'll trace the alphabet,
with my fingertips,
gently across your back.
when you cry,
i'll wipe away your tears,
as i tell you its okay to dispose
of all that hurts.
we'll then make beautiful love
and go on all night
until it hurts.
i wanna feel your body
next to me,
on top of me,
inside of mine.
i wanna feel your love,
physically and inside my mind.
when you are happy
i'll celebrate with you.
when you need me, i'll always be there.
no matter what, i'll always care.
