From tiny cells, a blueprint's start,
XX for her, XY for his heart.
A different code, a silent sign,
That shapes the bodies, yours and mine.
For her, a path of life's sweet song,
To carry forth, where life belongs.
For him, a different build and might,
Prepared for challenges, day and night.
Hormones flow, a gentle guide,
To mold the form, where they reside.
One strength to bear, one strength to chase,
Each with a role, in time and space.
In body's map, a subtle shift,
For health's design, a different gift.
The heart may beat a different beat,
And life's own span, a varied feat.
And in the mind, where thoughts reside,
Small differences, they can't hide.
A larger whole, for him to claim,
While she holds depth, in feeling's flame.
More cautious step, or courage bold,
Empathy's warmth, in stories told.
These gentle shades, a sweet array,
Lead to choices, on life's long way.
