Somewhere in between yellow and gray, my hope has crept away.
And now there's nothing left to hide. another day, to buy sometime.
But in between the anger and tears, you still find some time to,
Smile and look me deep in the eye.
Like a child deep and blue, I have tied but not for you.
You seem to take it all in your stride and if I could I would,
swap, it's not for us to decide.
But I will wait, for the longest time, yellow or gray suits you fine.
