Yellow Roses - Poem by Preddy Rampersad

Roses for a
that's wanting
Oh! so true.
Roses for a sweet,
gentle creature
An embelm of light
in my days of
Roses for a
treasure beyond
That can never
be replaced.
Roses for being
my rock on
life's stormy
Roses for your
smile that can
dry an ocean
of tears.
Roses for your
That can make
even heaven
Roses, the hue
of the sun,
smiling down on
