Yes I Am A Proud Pogali Poem by Jugesh Singh Thakur

Yes I Am A Proud Pogali

Shatter the whole blood out of my body
Every drop will speak with pride and embody
Which drop will you try to keep silent?
As it's the vast voice of thousands native and migrant

Springs, waterfall, stream, drains,
Every drop of ocean and the mighty rains
Tree, twig, branches never act pretensions
Taste you the essence of Pogali and its dimensions

Listen carefully, O the guardians of hatred
Your evil eye deceive you not our identity as sacred
No matter what field you conquer, how mighty tries
Yet unable to spoil & uproot anything except your own cries

Neither we were a tribe nor living nomadic
An example of a living civilization we are not by any magic
For the narrow minds Hindu- Muslim unity here acts as pus
Even the whole India learns this skill from us

We do not look for or make diamonds
Our soil is worth like that though not a byland
Need proof for this too, then boost up your perk
Go through Shri DD Thakur, Pogali Bazm- e-adab and others work

With so many facts if captured in your minds from Grierson to Peter Hook
If still ripple from your heads hid your faces in shamy nook
Because the flight of a fool makes time proud
Wise one's seal to fools and thier welfare is only to conclude

Yes I am a proud Pogali and will be till the last seigh
Even if the existence of the sun and the moon defy
Like the waves dance on their mighty transgression
Adding up the dignity to their ocean after regression.
