The greatest mentor was Robert Campbell Leslie followed by David A. Martin.
Yes, he was a professor who helped generate transcript hours
Yes, he was my champion at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley.
Yes, he published many books.
Yes, he helped heal the terrible wound of a Father who loved
buildings and work crews more than his son.
Yes, both of these significant men were from New England -
Massachusetts - to be exact.
Yes, I loved Bob deeply and his wife Paula
and deepened because of them to what truly matters in life.
Yes, life is about love; not buildings, or dollars or power or fame.
Yes, life is about death's only antidote which is love.
Yes, he taught me to love.
