Yes, My Eyes Are Sad

Yes my eyes are sad. They are sad because
they see the Future. They see the worms eating
my lifeless body.They see the beauty of life slip away
They see the sun jump from the earth.
I'm glad for these sad eyes. Without them I wouldn't have
seen you. And the sight of you, the connection, the
love of you, is worth all the pain and sadness to come.
