Thank you Chinedu Dike. I read your Mandela poem which is more traditional in its composition vs my bent towards contemporary minimalist work. I appreciate the passion in your poem, although I've only seen the movie Mandela and was absolutely moved by the movie and the man. But I have yet to read a book about Mandela I think to really get into the particulars of your poem. If I were to critique your poem, I would have to critique it from my own minimalist-contemporary POV. I feel your work would move me more if your language was simpler but that is me coming from a newer school I guess... best, MC
