Yesterday - Poem by rifka rebeccah
remind me tomorrow
why you passed away.
I carried your coffin in confusion
longing for a last look after the fact.
Your frozen face
staring into nowhere
laughing at my curiousity
faded further out of time.
Until the flame rekindled.
And i forgot, Yesterday,
how many times i'd buried that torch.
