Yesterday,
you swirled
hand on my hand
entangled
and
whispered
a promise
to come
to hook
your soul
on mine
to strengthen
your parched one
sipping
the nectar of love
today,
i wait
like the rain bird
for a drop
of love
on your return,
until
you take
your bridal move
through
the narrow
lane
certainly,
i wait for
like the sea
waits for
the river,
days and nights
together;
now
I wait for
like the tramps,
day in and day out
hoping
if
godot
will come!
