Yesterday I Decided

Yesterday I decided that there was no God
And if there was a God where is he
I decided that there was no purpose for me
I was placed upon this earth to hate and be hated
For whom was this world created
I decided that it is only for the bad
For them to laugh, snicker, and be glad
Yesterday as I laid in my bed
Many important thoughts ran through me head
But the main thing was 'What is life? '
I decided that life is a waste
I decided before I was born I should've gotten a taste
Yesterday i decided that there is some good
I thank God I am alive living in the hood
Yesterday I discovered life
That someday I could be a mom and wife
Yesterday I pushed aside my steel pole
And looked at me as a whole
I decided to reach for the golden rod
Yesterday I discovered GOD! ! !
