Yet I Wander Again Poem by Harshal Marathe

Yet I Wander Again

I wander on the nights alone
Melancholic moments sharing with the moon
Cold wind swirling around my ignited soul
Submerged in the thoughts of despairing memories

I wander on the quiet beaches
Soft and brittle sand warming up my senses
Sound of water taking me down the memory lane
A thought to share, a story to tell, getting lost in the moments,
When i wander alone on these seashores again and again

I wander on the streets
Walking towards the horizon
Most beautiful thing on the planet,
listening to my tiny tales
Her soothing voice giving a hope to live
A promise to keep and desire to love

Yet again I wander and i still wander
About the memories we made
About the things we cared
And the secret we shared
Only to realise those days are gone
And I wander again alone on these paths till dawn
